HERBOGLO contains OPTIMUM CONCENTRATED PLANT EXTRACTS of Neem, Guduchi, Jaiphal, Manjishtha, Daruharidra, Amalaki, Sariba, Khadira and Rakta chandan.

• Neem (Azadirachta indica): The medicinal properties of Neem have been known since time immemorial. The earliest Sanskrit medical writings refer to the benefits of Neem’s fruits, seeds, oil, leaves, roots and bark. Each has been used in the Indian Ayurvedic and Unani systems of medicines, and is now being used in the manufacture of modern day medicines, cosmetics, toiletries and pharmaceuticals. Neem has demonstrated its effectiveness as a powerful antibiotic. It helps support a strong immune system and is used in cases of inflammatory skin conditions. Traditionally Neem has been used for skin and blood purifying conditions. Due to Neem's antibacterial properties, it is effective in fighting most epidermal dysfunction such as acne. Neem is used in other skin problems like boils, heat-rash, wound and blisters.

• Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia): Tinospora cordifolia (Guduchi) possesses anti-stress, anti-diabetic, anti-ulcer, anti-oxidative, radio-protective, hepatoprotective and immunomodulatory properties. It is a natural blood purifier and is very useful for skin problems like acne, psoriasis and eczema.

• Jaiphal/Nutmeg (Myristica officinalis): Myristica fragrans commonly known as nutmeg, is known since antiquity for its aromatic and curative properties. Nutmeg is used to get rid of pimples.

• Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia): Rubia cordifolia is varnya in property, which means it helps enhance the luster of the skin. Laboratory studies revealed Rubia cordifolia as a promising anti-acne agent because it inhibits proliferation of Propionibacterium acne and hence prevents its consequences. Studies show that, the ethanolic extract of stem of Rubia cordifolia possess significant anti-inflammatory activity. Thus Manjishtha may be used in all types of skin diseases as it has Raktashodhaka property. It is very effective for the treatment of acne vulgaris.

• Daruharidra (Berberis aristata): Berberis aristata commonly known as “Daru haldhi and chitra” is used traditionally in inflammation, wound healing and various skin disease.

• Rakta chandan (Pterocarpus santalinus): Pterocarpus santalinus L. (Fabaceae) is commonly called as Red sandalwood or Rakta Chandan. In Ayurvedic system of medicine in India, the plant is used traditionally as an antiseptic, wound healing agent and in anti-acne treatment. Rakta chandan (Red Sandalwood Powder) has curative value in skin allergies. Sandalwood is a helpful Ayurvedic herb with antimicrobial properties and is used for healing various skin problems and removes scars.

• Amalaki (Emblica officinalis): Antioxidants and vitamin C present in amalaki brightens the skin and impart a natural glow. It also keeps skin free from blemishes. One of the benefits of amalaki is that it provides glowing and flawless skin. It brightens the skin and reduces pigmentation. Decrease in the skin collagen causes the skin tissue to lose its firmness and softness, resulting in sagging skin. Amalaki is perfect for the treatment of acne and pimple scars. Moreover, since it is a natural blood purifier, it fights the microorganisms in the skin, thus keeping skin infections as well as acne and pimples at bay. Amalaki is an excellent cleanser and being a mild exfoliant, it helps in removing the dead skin cells.  Amalaki has good healing properties due to the presence of vitamin C and other antioxidants which speed up the repair of damaged tissue, thus providing a healthy and clear skin. It also combats the problem of dry and scaly skin.

• Sariba (Hemidesmus indicus): Hemidesmus indicus is widely used in Ayurveda for skin disorders. Study was carried out in H.indicus root and anti-acne effect was tested against Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis which are responsible for acne vulgaris. MIC values suggest the extract exhibits significant anti-acne effect against these organisms. Thus, it is traditionally used in skin diseases and as blood purifier.

• Khadira (Acacia catechu): Catechins present in Acacia catechu possess significant antioxidant and antimicrobial effect. It is used in conjunction with other medication as a remedy for abating the acne flare-ups in teenagers. It has a special potency to alleviate the skin diseases. Bark of Khadira possess antifungal, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties and it contributes in treatment of various skin diseases like skin rashes, acne and reduce inflammations.
